The filming of The Flying Cam at Armourgeddon is a day none of us on site will never forget. From the creativity of the costumes to the fantastic make-up and the fire breathing displays, the visit of The Flying Cam has culminated in a brilliant short video.

A couple of months ago, we had a visit from the video production company The Flying Cam. The team brought with them their favourite fire based performance group, Pyrohex. The group also performs aerial hoop displays and use pyrotechnics in their shows which are pretty spectacular!

The Flying Cam team spent the day filming the Pyrohex girls running into the back of tanks and heading off round the track. The aerial photography has been cut and stuck and added to a brilliant story board that The Flying Cam have on their website. The Flying Cam team states that ‘The drone has liberated the camera and so we are now pioneers limited only by our imagination.’ And their imagination is certainly more vivid than any of ours are!

The day itself was great fun with the Pyrohex team dressed in very creative Kelly’s Heroes outfits with a little less camouflage and a little more fishnet…!

The Flying Cam created quite a buzz as it flew around the Armourgeddon tracks and filmed the action from on high.

The day ended with fire breathing and smoke cannons as the Pyrohex girls took ‘control’ to a new level.

The Flying Cam team has let us have a sneak preview of the video and that’s what we have to share with you in this weeks blog. Amazing aerial views of the track and our fleet of FV432s as well as the tanks driving across the area we call top track here at Southfields Farm.

We can’t promise aerial photography or firebreathing show stoppers for your visit, but if you fancy having a go at tank driving or a Tank Paintball Battle, book now and take your turn at the controls.
