Trip Advisor Excellence Award Winners!
Trip Advisor have this week presented us with a Certificate of Excellence. We are over the moon with this prestigious award. We may even pop to the pub for a celebratory Vimto!
Now in its 5th year, the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence award recognises establishments and destinations that consistently earn great Trip Advisor reviews from travellers. Winners include:
- One-room B&Bs to 600-room hotels,
- Hidden attractions to world-famous museums,
- And local cafés to Michelin-starred restaurants.
As President of TripAdvisor for Business, Marc Charron, knows how important the Certificate of Excellence is: “By putting a spotlight on businesses that are focused on delivering great service to customers, Trip Advisor not only helps drive an improvement to hospitality standards around the world, but also gives businesses both large and small the ability to shine and stand out from the competition.”
Of all the businesses that have won this award for 2015, 30% are accommodation, 52% are eateries of some type or another and just 20% are attractions of which we are one!
Positive feedback from our customers is the best part of what we do here at Armourgeddon. We know people have a good time when they come to see us, but to take the time to sit down and write a review of their day out shows us that they had an exceptional time. That’s our goal so it’s great to hear about it when we have achieved it. And even better to be recognized by Trip Advisor for this.
To celebrate, we thought this week we would share some of our favourite Trip Advisor reviews with you. Thank you to everyone who has written a review for us and kept us at a brilliant 5 stars all year. We are thrilled that you love coming to visit us.
“This was seriously good fun from start to finish.”
“Overall an awesome day out - well worth going.”
“We have been several times with our now 98 year old granddad who used to drive tanks in the 2nd world war.
It truly is an amazing experience. The choice of equipment and vehicles are fab. The guys working there are amazing, very friendly and make you feel really welcome. My family and I could not praise them all enough. Well worth a visit.”
“Absolutely fantastic day. The instructor was excellent, explained everything and his enthusiasm really added to the day. There was a lot of attention to health and safety and your wellbeing, so at all times you felt safe in and around the tank. But for me driving the tank was the best bit - you must give it a go!
Also the museum they have is worth spending some time looking through too, some good displays. Someone has spent a lot of time putting the collection together.
In short this a company that cares about it's customers, the experiences they deliver with staff that are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of their subject. A perfect place to drive a tank!”
“WOW this was an awesome experience - I did the three vehicle driving experience and have to say it was even better than I had hoped. Absolutely loved it. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Though I don't drive a car the instructor was a lovely young man who explained it really well and put you at ease and he had a wicked sense of humour, which made the whole experience fun. Absolutely fantastic experience. The museum is also full of old military vehicles and memorabilia. I'd highly recommend this company if you want the experience of driving a tank”
“My husband age 66 and grandson age 10 did the Dads and Lads experience in a tank. They both thought it was fantastic - dad driving the tank and the lads firing the paintballs. Highly recommended and a great joint present idea!!!”
“Ace ace ace, tank paintball, learning to drive the tank and firing paintballs was brilliant good fun.”
“If you've even thought that this might be a good idea, just do it!!!”
“Did the tank paintball. Three generations in one tank. We all had a go at driving, aiming and loading. Then the battle commenced. Great fun for all of us. We all want to do it again.”
