General
You must be a min of 16yrs to drive a tank. To drive the military vehicles, you must be 17 years old.
The maximum height to be in a vehicle is 6ft 4” or 193cm and the maximum weight is 22 stone or 140kg. There is a minimum height of 4ft or 122cm. No min height or weight restrictions apply to our other activities.
Yes, many of our activities can be carried out as an individual. If an event requires more than one participant e.g. Tank Driving Taster, that’s not a problem as we can group individual customers together.
No, you don’t need a license or even any car driving experience in order to take part in one of our Tank Driving activities. For our Military Vehicle experiences, a driving license is preferred or at least the knowledge of how to drive a manual car.

Our tank activities operate April-October each year. Woodland paintball, archery, air rifle shooting, clay pigeon shooting and quad safari activities are available all year round (subject to weather conditions). We operate group and corporate bookings throughout the week too.
- Tank Paintball Battle – approx. 2 hours
- Tank Paintball Battle – approx. 2 hours
- Tank Driving Taster – approx. 45 minutes
- Tank Driving Experience – approx. 45 minutes
- Adult & Child Experience – approx. 45 minutes
- Military Vehicles Driving with 2 Vehicles – approx. 45 minutes if you are on your own or 2 hours if you are in a group
- Military Vehicle Driving with 3 Vehicles – approx. 1 hour if you are on your own or 3 hours if you are in a group. Don’t forget to allow time to visit our museum! We also ask that you try to arrive 30 minutes before your activity start-time.
Passengers can be added to any of our Tank and Military Vehicle Driving activities, allowing them to ride in the vehicles (and take part in the target shooting, depending on the activity). You can choose whether to book your passenger spaces in advance or pay on the day of the activity. Passengers must be at least 8 years old and the amount of spaces for passengers varies depending on the activity. The additional cost for passengers includes their access to the viewing area and museum. Please note that passengers do not get to drive the vehicles and their cost is in addition to the full-paying customer(s) that is taking part in the activity.
There is a spectator’s fee payable for entry to the viewing area, but this includes access to the museum too. Under 5s are free!
Yes, we have a limited choice of filled rolls, confectionary, drinks etc. that can be purchased on the day. If you have a group of 10 or more people please ask to see our catering list which offers hot food, buffets, etc. that must be booked in advance.
We will provide you with overalls and a helmet but alongside this we advise that you wear comfortable, casual clothing that you won’t mind getting muddy. It is also sensible to avoid clothing with external chains, large tags or hanging parts that could get caught. Footwear wise, we recommend wellies, sturdy walking boots or shoes that can cope with lots of mud.
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes before your activity is due to start. This gives you time to sign in any extra passengers or spectators. You should then be ready to start your activity at your allotted start time.
It’s always best to raise any queries you may have on the day with our dedicated Events Manager. This gives us a chance to resolve any issues before you leave. Yes, all of our activities need to be booked and paid for prior to the day.

Absolutely! Group bookings are one of our specialities. We offer a number of different packages tailored specifically to your group size and budget. As well as our usual weekend activity days, we also offer weekdays for group bookings. Please contact us to run through your requirements and we’ll put an itinerary together for you.
The quickest way to make a booking is through our website using the “book now” button. Here you will find a list of all available dates and times. Please enter your voucher number/pin/reference and expiry date to allow us to check the validity. You will then receive a provisional booking confirmation followed by a confirmed booking once the voucher has been validated.
Gift Vouchers
Vouchers can be purchased on our website; you can choose between Postal Vouchers and eVouchers. An eVoucher will be emailed back to you immediately whereas a postal voucher will be sent out in the post to you and will include an A5 presentation pack. For postal vouchers, a postage and packing fee applies.

Gift vouchers purchased directly from ourselves can be extended for 12 months for a £15 fee plus the difference in price paid and the current rate for the activity. The voucher must be in date at the time of extending the voucher. If you purchased your voucher from an experience day company, their rules can vary – please call the particular company that provided your voucher and they will be able to advise you.
Museum
The museum is open from April to end Oct, Weds to Sun inc 10am-4pm. Please contact our office for requirements outside of April to October.
