It’s not all about the tanks!

Although some may say we are a tad obsessed, a little nerdy and believe it or not we have even been referred to as Tank Geeks in the past… there are other things that we do here at Armourgeddon.

We also run regular paintball here too, we are known as Chaos Paintball, with 6 game zones in our over 30-acre paintball woodland. There are no inflatables and no plastic scenarios here. We have real disused vehicles and real tanks in our game zones and with our UKPSF accreditation, we are the number one spot for paintball in Leicestershire. Or at least that’s what we think!

Largely Big G and Alex at Armourgeddon run Chaos Paintball here. You may well know Big G from his antics on our Facebook page and our YouTube videos but here’s a reminder for you: Big G's Tank Prank. As you can imagine, a day out in the woods with Big G is a day of none stop entertainment and fun.

We have six games zones each with multiple games to be played in. We use the props from all over the Armourgeddon site and the paintball woods so no two games will be the same.

Paintball was first played on the 27th June 1981 in Henniker, New Hampshire in the USA. Paintball is played with a potentially limitless variety of rules and zones, the easiest of which being a game where a player must accomplish a goal without being shot and market with a paintball. Once you are ‘hit’ you are expected to leave the field until the next game commences.

We love our scenario paintball too and have many different options for teams to play from Landing Craft Assault where you have landed on D-Day, to Missile Base where your UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) has spotted a prototype missile and Convoy- a convoy has stopped to refuel and you must not let them start back on their journey again.

Speedball is also played in the Armourgeddon woodland. Speedball is a variant of paintball played in a smaller zone ad is very fast paced. The zone is created of the same number of bunkers for each team so that an equal playing field is provided for either team. Games are very quick and are great to view as well as play.

Chaos Paintball runs throughout the year at Armourgeddon, Southfields Farm. We run weekend sessions that smaller groups can join but for groups of 10 or more, just pick your date and we’ll do he rest!
