They want to drive a tank through muddy field and find out what it’s like to be in a tank under battle conditions. They are going to LOVE IT! 1. Tank Paintball Battle. Yes, it’s true; you can learn to drive a tank at a few different places around the UK. BUT- and here it is, we are the only place WORLDWIDE that you can enter into a Tank Paintball Battle. What’s a Tank Paintball Battle? It’s an activity where you not only learn to drive an FV432 but you learn to charge, load, aim and fire paintballs from the cannon fixed atop of the FV432 tank. Once you have learnt the different roles within the tank crew, you decide who will take which position for the battle; pick a fight against another tank and head to the battleground. 6 shooting spots, 2 shots in each spot and the best of 12 is the winner. Don’t be fooled, winning is EVERYTHING on tank paintball battle.

2. Open all year around- as long as you let us know in advance! We run Saturdays, Sundays and selected Wednesdays come rain or shine. The weather of the past couple of winters hasn’t stopped us at all, although never say never as of course we are in the UK so 80 degrees predicted at Easter 2015 could well be followed by -5 and snow in 2016.

4. The Museum- our museum is 2 hangers of internal displays and endless vehicles, guns and military paraphernalia around the entrance and spectator areas. So much to see! Even if you aren’t coming for a tank driving experience, you can still visit the museum- open year around and no need to book in advance. See Military Vehicle Museum

5. Kids Parties- looking for something a bit different for your child’s birthday party? Minimum age of 8 years allows the kids party to have a go at shooting static targets out the back of a Bedford Truck, then some riffle shooting in our range here at Armourgeddon. 6. Tank Names. Each of our FV432s has it’s own name and tank art to emblazon the side of the tank. Created by a local artist to us here at Southfields Farm, each tank has a girl’s name. We regularly run competitions to name the tanks as they join the fleet and we are proud of the art that emblazons our FV432s.

7. Luke. A member of the St. John’s Ambulance team, if ever you need a first aider, Luke is your man! Not what you would call a ‘wallflower’ our Luke will entertain you as well as fix you up. One of our more experienced instructors, Luke is an all-rounder trained on all our activities and pretty much here every weekend, Luke is determined to win the battle of the instructors this year and take every one of his crews to victory.
